In this privacy statement, we explain what personal data we process and for which purposes you can furnish us with your personal data.
Purpose of the collection and processing of personal data
Personal data can be furnished to us so that we can issue a quotation for your interpreting or translation services, and/or you can furnish your personal data and those of third parties to us for the provision of our services.
Your personal data will be used for only those purposes for which you have given consent. For example:

- to provide services
- to inform you about new services
- to invite you to gatherings

Security of your personal data
Specific privacy requirements apply for our employees and freelancers to ensure the security of your personal data. They are required to sign a confidentiality agreement before the start of their employment or freelance contract.
The security of your personal data is also ensured by our adherence to the need-to-know principle when providing a service and because access to your personal data is granted to only those persons who are actually working on your assignment.
Employees and freelancers are likewise required to report a personal data breach as quickly as possible.
Your personal data in written and electronic form are protected in accordance with the minimum legal requirements. Your personal data are also kept for no longer than necessary, unless there is a legal obligation to keep these personal data for a longer period of time.
When your personal data are no longer needed, your personal data will be either destroyed or returned, whichever you prefer. You can make this choice in the ‘Request form for access / rectification / correction / erasure or data portability’, which is available from us.
